Poésie Noire - Eureka - Lyrics

(lyrics by Marianne Valvekens, music by Jo Casters)

Eureka eureka there's water on the moon
The scientist said we'll be living there soon
He's not saying who is we
But it ain't gonna be you and me
Do you think God can weep
And if we find God
The scientist wasn't kidding
We can sell to the highest bidder
It's the fine art of finding funds
To prolong the research
Prolong the life of the already dead
That's what doctor Strangelove said
It's time for dying
But the doctors keep on trying
Non optional reanimation
Way too much information
Here's a question for you brilliant minds
Just for once do something nice
Who collects the melting ice
Sell it in the future at a dazzling price
Ladies and gentlemen this is a surprise
We want to keep mystery alive
Easter island monster of Loch Ness
Dark thoughts and grey skies
